so, i figured i should blog mostly coz i seem to have too much to say for my poor friends to listen to and i kinda just blarg it at them and demand attention *laughs*

i spend a lot of time ranting depressing things about the state of the world, particularly if it links ultimately to species extinction or exploiting hungry people, but sometimes i also find really beautiful things that i wanna share. and sometimes i just rant about life in general, which usually involves a lot of zoological jargon since i'm a graduating (hopefully -_-) zoology student.

i dunno, i also reckon i know a heap of stuff that most people haven't been exposed to just because of my experiences and my degree, and i think the concept of 'experts' is elitist bullshit so i wanna share some of what i know to empower people to go and find out more. so this blog is likely to be packed full of random useful links or maybe passages from scientific papers or highly biased rants or careful essays.

either way, it's about taking my voice and using it to put ideas out there that the corporate media won't show.

this is your world - take it back and make it what you want it to be.
